Hilton Signia Indianapolis
The combined hotel/meeting space project will allow Indianapolis to attract larger events as the city continues to grow its share of the national convention market. The proposed site, home to the existing Pan Am Plaza (built for the 1987 Pan American Games), has long been underutilized and targeted for revitalization by the City of Indianapolis, with several proposed redevelopment deals failing to materialize over the years.
Its prime location along Georgia Street (site of the inaugural Super Bowl Village in 2012) bridges major event facilities, including the Indiana Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, and Banker’s Life Fieldhouse, and is seen as integral to the visitor experience of downtown Indianapolis.
