As RATIO’s Chicago Studio Leader, Grace brings more than three decades of experience in the architecture profession to the firm. A firm Principal, Grace is a multifaceted leader with extensive expertise managing large, complicated teams and projects.

As a practicing designer in Chicago since 1993, Grace’s aptitude for collaboration, organizational leadership, and complex decision making has manifested itself in a number of high-profile roles throughout the community, including Director of Design for the Public Building Commission of Chicago and Capital Architect / Design Manager for Chicago Public Schools.

 

A visionary yet hands-on leader, Grace has served the Chicago community through organizations focused on diverse issues such as education, architecture, land use, and various design committees for the office of the Mayor. She has a particular interest in design for the urban environment and in urban agriculture.
