Scott serves as the firm’s design principal, using his unique abilities to recognize opportunities and craft programmatic objectives, client aspirations and physical context into projects with distinguished results. His focus on process has created a diverse body of recognized work that spans across 20 countries. Scott began his professional career with SOM upon graduation from the University of Kentucky.

Dae-Hong manages the firm’s international practice, facilitating the collaboration of expertise across the globe to effectively realize significant projects. He is an expert in navigating the complex issues of local practices, cultural diversity and financial viability. In his 20 years of experience Dae-Hong has managed smdp’s participation in over 100 projects around the world. Dae-Hong began his professional career with SOM upon receiving his Master of Architecture degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1995.

Bill serves as the firms practice leader, using his 30 years of experience to craft the advancement of the quality of design and delivery of professional services. He is focused on advancing the integral relationship between firm leadership, office culture, project management and innovation to achieve design excellence. Bill is the founding principal of Ratio Architects, a registered Architect in 15 states and a LEED accredited professional.

David manages the operations of the firm and coordinates the efforts of project teams to deliver the highest level of service to clients. His 30 years of diverse experience have enabled him to effectively organize and implement uniquely complicated projects in a timely manner. David began his professional career with SOM upon graduation from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a registered Architect in the state of Illinois.

Insung serves as the firms lead technical Architect, coordinating the latest building technologies and consultant teams to deliver state-of-the-art projects. Over his 25 years of experience he has developed a holistic understanding of the design process from concept through occupancy. Insung earned his Masters of Architecture degree from The Illinois Institute of Technology in 1992 and his undergraduate degree from Yonsei University in 1987. He is a registered Architect in the state of Illinois and a LEED accredited professional.

With professional experience in the management and design procedures for large-scale international projects, Jihun supports the architectural design and management efforts for smdp projects throughout Korea and China. Jihun received his Master of Architecture degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
